It’s now over four months since I left the UK and I’ve spent the last five weeks of that time stuck, without money, in Georgia’s capital city, Tbilisi. Scrounging food from market floors and living in a park, I was lucky enough to meet and become a green warrior of Georgia, a Guerrilla Gardener!
After my Iranian visa was refused for the second time, I found myself having to recalculate my route to Asia. Turkey was an amazing country but I was now entering Georgia, a country completely unknown to me.

Most of you know by now that pretty soon I’m going to start my round the world cycling trip. If you haven’t then read this first. One of the first things I’m asked whenever discussing my trip is which charity I’m doing it for. I guess it’s a normal thing to do these days but I […]
About 8 months ago someone put the idea in my head that I should motorcycle around Australia. I couldn’t (and can’t) ride a motorcycle so instead I decided to cycle around Europe for a few months. This idea was fizzling in the back if my head for a few weeks before I decided to look […]
You may have read my post few months ago about my plans to buy a bike when I got back to the UK and spend 3 months cycling around Europe. Well, plans change, and usually get scrapped, but sometimes they grow into something altogether unexpected. Now I’m planning to do something that I never would […]
